Ca Mau publicly announces more than 600 enterprises that owe insurance
Ca Mau - More than 600 enterprises in the province are slow to pay compulsory insurance, with large sums of money, many cases lasting for many years.
On January 23, Ca Mau Social Insurance publicly announced a list of 615 employers that were late in paying social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance and occupational accident and disease insurance, with a total debt of more than 138 billion VND, as of December 31, 2025.
The situation of late insurance payment occurs in many types of enterprises, from private enterprises, limited liability companies, joint stock companies to branches of enterprises operating in Ca Mau province.
Notably, many units have a payment delay period lasting from a few dozen to more than 100 months, directly affecting the social security rights of employees.

In the public list, Quoc Viet Seafood Processing and Import-Export Trading Joint Stock Company (address Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Tan Thanh Ward, Ca Mau City) was late in paying insurance with an amount of over 42 billion VND, the late payment period was 84 months. This is the enterprise with the largest insurance debt amount on the list.
Some other enterprises also owe large sums of money, lasting for many years such as Ca Mau Seafood Export Joint Stock Company, which was late in paying more than 9.9 billion VND in 129 months; Ca Mau Shipbuilding Industry Company Limited, which was late in paying more than 4.23 billion VND in 141 months; Huynh Huong Trading, Service and Import-Export Joint Stock Company, which was late in paying more than 3.13 billion VND, for a period of 130 months.
Many construction, trade and service enterprises are also in the group of long-term payment delays such as Quang Tien Construction Company Limited ( debts of more than VND 4.29 billion, 39 months), Ca Mau Wood Processing Production Import-Export Company Limited ( debts of over VND 1.3 billion, 100 months), Minh Chau Import-Export Trading Service Company Limited ( debts of nearly VND 2 billion, 169 months).
According to Ca Mau Provincial Social Insurance, the disclosure of the list of units with late payments aims to increase transparency, raise awareness of compliance with the law on social insurance of employers, and at the same time, serve as a basis for competent authorities to coordinate in inspecting, checking and handling according to regulations.
Ca Mau Provincial Social Insurance notes that the amount of money that units pay in January 2026 (if any) will be recorded in the insurance payment results of the following month. In case the units continue to be late in paying or have long debts, the insurance agency will transfer the file to the competent authority for consideration and handling, to protect the legitimate and legal rights of employees.
