Lao Cai Trade Union proactively prevents and combats drugs in enterprises

Implementing the direction of the Standing Committee of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation on implementing Plan No. 73/KH-UBND dated February 13, 2026 of the Provincial People's Committee on building "communes and wards without drugs", the Trade Union of Industrial Parks has organized many propaganda activities among workers.

Contents on drug prevention and control are disseminated to union members and workers through trade union meetings and online groups such as Zalo, Facebook...

Thereby helping workers understand the provisions of the law, raise awareness and proactively prevent.

The unit also directed the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union to coordinate with the company's board of directors to strengthen visual propaganda such as hanging panels and slogans at the workplace; and at the same time mobilize the construction of the "Doanh nghiệp không ma túy" model.

In addition, units providing information about hotline phone numbers and email addresses to receive denunciations of crimes and drug evils operate 24/24 hours, helping workers promptly reflect and contribute to early prevention.

To date, 45 grassroots trade unions in industrial parks in the area have participated in hanging propaganda panels on drug prevention and control at enterprises.

The Trade Union Committee of Industrial Parks determines that each trade union official, union member and employee is an active "prophyunist".

Therefore, grassroots trade unions continue to mobilize workers to spread the message "Say no to drugs" to families and communities, strictly complying with the provisions of law.

These activities not only contribute to raising workers' awareness but also create consensus in businesses, joining hands to build a safe working environment, contributing to maintaining security and order in the locality.
