Trade union trains "prevention and combat of sexual harassment in the workplace
Phu Tho - March 6, the Provincial Labor Federation organized a training conference "Prevention and combat of sexual harassment in the workplace" for trade union officials, workers, civil servants, and laborers.
Attending the conference were comrade Do Ngoc Anh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation; officials of Trade Union Affairs Departments, Industrial Park Trade Union Boards and more than 300 Trade Union officials and workers at enterprises in the province.
At the conference, delegates listened to psychological experts convey key contents on identifying sexual harassment in the workplace, prevention skills, how to behave and handle situations.
Thereby, helping Trade Union officials and workers improve their understanding, proactively protect themselves, contributing to building a safe, healthy, civilized and respectful working environment.
The conference contributed to raising awareness, prevention skills and responses to sexual harassment in the workplace for union members and workers.
In communes and wards, the Trade Union has also organized many exciting and practical activities such as meetings, seminars, propaganda, cultural and artistic exchanges, and caring for the material and spiritual lives of female union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers.
Through conferences and response activities, Trade Union levels in the province continue to affirm their role in accompanying, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers, especially female workers; contributing to building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization.
