Establishing more grassroots unions with 25 union members in Da Nang

News from the Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union on December 18 said: The Commune Trade Union held a Conference to announce the decision to establish the Tien Thu Company Limited Branch Trade Union, located in Nam Phuoc Commune.

At the conference, the Commune Trade Union presented the decision to admit 25 members of the Vietnam Trade Union; at the same time, announced the decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union, appoint the Executive Committee and the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Tien Thu Company Limited Branch.

On this occasion, the Nam Phuoc Commune Union presented the 2024 Trade Union Law book and the handbook on occupational safety and hygiene, and at the same time disseminated the rights and obligations of union members and the responsibilities of the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union according to current regulations.

At the same time, support was given to 3 union members in difficult circumstances, at a level of VND 1,000,000/suvenir.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Lam Thi Vy, Chairwoman of the Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union, suggested that the grassroots trade unions focus on improving the quality of propaganda, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members.

Proactively dialogue, negotiate, improve welfare, improve working conditions; closely coordinate with professionals, organize trade union activities flexibly and effectively, accompany businesses for sustainable development.

The conference agreed to promote the application of digital transformation, build Zalo groups and Grassroots Trade Union Fanpages to enhance connectivity and timely information to union members and workers.
