Van An Hoa Company in Da Nang launches grassroots trade union
Da Nang established the Van An Hoa Company's grassroots union, admitting 83 new union members.
On December 8, at Thuan Yen Industrial Park (Ban Thach Ward), the Da Nang City Labor Federation held a ceremony to announce the decision to admit union members and launch the Van An Hoa Company Limited Trade Union.
Van An Hoa Company Limited operates in the field of export leather shoe production. After a period of propaganda and mobilization, 83 workers voluntarily joined, becoming the first union members of the grassroots union.
At the ceremony, the City Labor Federation presented the decision to establish a grassroots Trade Union and appointed a 5-member Executive Committee and a 3-member Inspection Committee. Ms. Nguyen Thi My Na - Chief Accountant, Assistant Director of the company - was appointed to hold the position of Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union.
According to the City Labor Federation, the establishment of the Van An Hoa Company Limited Trade Union is expected to increase union members' welfare and motivate workers to feel secure in their attachment and improve labor efficiency in the enterprise.
