Establishing a grassroots trade union with 97 union members in Long Giang Industrial Park

On the afternoon of September 11, the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation held a ceremony to announce the Decision to establish a grassroots trade union (CDCS) of VINTECH Vietnam Steel Pipe accessories Company Limited located at Lot 98, Long Giang Industrial Park, Tan Phuoc 3 Commune, Dong Thap Province).

The ceremony was attended by Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, President of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Head of the Industrial Parks Trade Union Department; Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha - representative of the Provincial Labor Federation Organization Department; Mr. Gong Lei - Deputy General Director of the Company.

At the ceremony, representatives of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor presented flowers, announced and presented the Decision to admit 97 union members, the decision to establish a grassroots union, and the decision to recognize the grassroots union executive committee of 05 members. Accordingly, Mr. Giang Minh Quoc Trung was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Company's Trade Union.

Speaking on receiving the assignment, Chairman of the Giang Minh Trade Union Quoc Trung promised to work with the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union to promote a sense of responsibility, proactiveness and creativity in implementing trade union activities; create solidarity, mobilize union members to actively and enthusiastically compete in labor, contributing to the successful completion of assigned tasks.

Speaking at the assignment of tasks to the grassroots trade union, President of the Provincial Labor Federation, Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui congratulated the Executive Committee and the grassroots trade union of the Company. Ms. Tuyet Vui emphasized that the establishment of grassroots trade unions not only contributes to strengthening the increasingly strong trade union organization, but also creates conditions for union members to have their legitimate and legal rights and interests protected.

At the same time, promote the spirit of solidarity and cohesion between employers and employees. The Executive Committee of the Trade Union needs to proactively develop and develop a Quality Collective Labor Agreement, regulations for activities, and work programs of the trade union, coordinate with employers to mobilize union members and workers to promote emulation movements "Good workers, creative workers", "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene", strive to successfully complete tasks and production and business targets, improve the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.

On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor presented 30 free general health check-ups and screening forms to union members with a total value of more than 35,000,000 VND sponsored by Thai Huy General Clinic.

It is known that the Company has been in operation since April 2025 with 101 workers specializing in the production, processing and consumption of stainless steel pipe accessories. After a month of mobilization, 97 workers submitted applications to join the Vietnam Trade Union.
