Vietnam Bank Trade Union actively cares for and encourages female union members and workers

Ms. Nguyen Khanh Chi - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Bank Trade Union said that in recent times, trade unions at all levels have organized many meaningful activities in rich and diverse forms through organizing meaningful events and activities in line with the development trend of the times (di talks, talks, sharing experiences, meeting to give gifts, cooking competitions, artistic flower arrangement, picnicking, source...) showing the concern of Party committees and professional leaders for female cadres, union members, and workers (DV, NLD) in the banking industry.

Of which, the Trade Union of the Central State Bank Agency supported the organization of a meeting to celebrate International Day 8.3 for 1,344 women, with an amount of 950 million VND.

The Trade Union of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam has allocated more than 40 billion VND from the Emulation Fund to pay bonuses to more than 23,000 union members and employees nationwide on the occasion of International Women's Day, March 8.

The Trade Union of Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam coordinated with the professional bank to support 14,207 female officials on the occasion of International Women's Day on March 8 with an amount of VND 28.414 billion.

The Deposit Insurance Union launched the "Excellent Female Workers" Contest, providing uniform Ao Dai for female officers and uniform shirts for union officers.

In addition to caring for and encouraging female union members and employees, trade unions at all levels in the banking industry also actively encourage children of union members and employees.

The Vietnam Bank Trade Union organized the 5th Conference to honor outstanding students who are children of employees in the banking industry, period 2022 - 2025 for 373 children who meet the prescribed conditions. These include: 335 outstanding students - in the group of 1st prize subjects: 15 students won international prizes; 286 students won national prizes; 28 valedictorians/ head of the University; 06 students achieved the title of "5 Good Students" at the Central level and the "500th of January" Award awarded by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Union and the Vietnam Student Association; 37 students in difficult circumstances, special circumstances, overcoming difficulties to study well.

Implement social security activities for children: sponsor funding to help children in difficult circumstances and suffering from serious illnesses through the Vietnam Children's Support Fund. Coordinate the organization of donating treatment funds to pediatric patients being treated at the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion. Trade unions at all levels in the Industry have had many meaningful activities for children of employees at the unit on the occasion of Children's International Day on June 1 and the summer vacation in 2025.

The Trade Union of the Central State Bank Agency coordinated with the State Bank Office and independent accounting units to support funding to organize a meeting for 2,200 children with an amount of more than 400 million VND; coordinated with the NHTW Youth Union to give cards to buy school supplies and essential items to more than 2,000 children of Vietnamese workers with a total amount of nearly 500 million VND.

The Trade Union of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam allocated more than 1.9 billion VND from the Fund to support 381 children of union members and workers with disabilities and serious illnesses who are unable to work.

The Trade Union of Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank presented gifts to 5,600 children of union members and employees on the occasion of the 1/6 International Children's Day with a total value of more than 900 million VND.
