95% of units under the Vietnam Banking Trade Union organize cultural and sports activities

The Vietnam Banking Trade Union (VBV) has focused on organizing many online contests such as the online contest "Workers, civil servants, and employees of the banking industry learn about occupational safety and health" in 2025. The contest takes place over 15 days (May 15, 2025), attracting nearly 10,000 participants, with a completion rate of up to 92.23%. The content includes 2 topics on occupational safety and health and environmental protection, implemented in the form of online learning and testing, convenient and modern.

The online contest "Creative Journey - Aspiration to Rise Up" for union members and employees (Union, Employee) of the Banking industry in 2025 has a total of more than 150 entries from all levels of trade unions under the Vietnam Bank Trade Union; The Organizing Committee awarded 3 First Prizes, 5 Second Prizes, 6 Third Prizes and 15 Encouragement Prizes; 3 First Prizes of the Contest will be selected for nomination to participate in the "Creative Labor Festival 2025" organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

The NHVN Trade Union has deployed to all levels of the trade union the online contest "Proud of Vietnam" and the program " Muon dep am thuong thuong" to create a highlight for lively propaganda.

The Vietnam Bank Trade Union directs trade unions at all levels to regularly build and maintain Sports Clubs, organize cultural and sports activities at the grassroots level, in order to improve health, create a healthy and useful playground for members and employees.

According to the report, 95% of trade unions at the grassroots level, grassroots trade unions under the Vietnam Bank Trade Union have organized and actively participated in cultural, artistic and sports activities, competitions launched by the Party, banking sector and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor attracting hundreds of thousands of members and employees to participate.

In particular, the Trade Union of Joint Stock Commercial banks for Investment and PTVN in coordination with the professional organization organized the offline Running, online BIDVRUN - for green living to celebrate the 68th anniversary of BIDV's establishment, contributing funds to build multi-purpose houses to avoid floods and BIDV's program to plant 1 million trees and cover Vietnam with green. The race attracted nearly 33,000 athletes, covered more than 2.1 million km, and contributed more than 8 billion VND to implement social housing activities.

The Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade Trade Union organized the "Vietcombank Run & share 2025: A heart, a belief" Run, attracting 18,399 members and employees to participate and contribute 11 billion VND to the Weather and Future Fund.
