Establishment of the Trade Union of KVY Vietnam Joint Stock Company - MerPerle Nui Sam Resort Branch

On the afternoon of January 10, in Vinh Te ward, the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) and the branch of KVY Vietnam - MerPerle Nui Sam Resort held a ceremony to announce the Decision to establish the company's grassroots trade union and admit union members.

Accordingly, the ceremony announced the decision to establish the grassroots trade union of the branch of KVY Vietnam - MerPerle Nui Sam Resort Joint Stock Company, the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee, the Inspection Committee, key positions and admit 35 union members.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vi, Director of the Company's branch, said: the establishment of the Company's Branch Trade Union is an important event, marking a new step in the work of caring for the material and spiritual life and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of employees. This is not only the wish of the collective of employees but also demonstrates the concern, support and strong commitment of the Company's Branch's Board of Directors in building a stable, harmonious and sustainable working environment.

On behalf of the Company Branch's Board of Directors, I pledge to always create favorable conditions for the Trade Union to operate in its correct function, promoting its role well according to the provisions of law and the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union. We believe that the Executive Committee of the Company Branch Trade Union will promote a sense of responsibility, democracy, objectivity, and accompany the Company Branch in successfully implementing the set production and business tasks," Mr. Vi emphasized.

Mr. Lam Vi Khang - Chairman of the Trade Union of the Company's Branch said: "We believe that with the attention and direction of the Provincial Federation of Labor, leaders of the Party Committee, government, local Trade Unions, support and all conditions from the Company's Branch Board of Directors, and the consensus of all union members, the Trade Union Executive Board will complete and perform well the assigned duties and responsibilities, worthy of being the representative of the Workers at the Company. The grassroots trade union will gradually mature, become stronger and develop more".

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor Do Tran Thinh said: Today's announcement ceremony shows the concern of business leaders for Trade Union activities. Thereby, it is seen the important significance, meeting the aspirations and wishes of employees, through the Trade Union organization to gather, attract and encourage employees to actively participate in emulation movements in the Company's service business activities. Thereby, accompanying and contributing to the overall development of the Company, together with the Company, taking care of the material and spiritual life of union members and employees. Thereby, union members and employees see the Trade Union organization as a true support for union members at the grassroots level".
