Launch of Son La Provincial Social Insurance Grassroots Trade Union with more than 200 union members

Implementing the guidance of the Son La Provincial Labor Federation, the Steering Committee for establishing the grassroots Trade Union of the unit has promoted propaganda and dissemination of the rights and obligations of union members, and the role of the Trade Union organization.

Through this, 100% of officials, employees, and laborers of the unit voluntarily wrote applications to join the Trade Union.

At the conference, leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation awarded decisions to establish the Provincial Social Insurance Grassroots Trade Union, admitting 224 union members.

The Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union was launched with 9 members; Ms. Dinh Thi Huong was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Thai Thi Mai, Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation, congratulated the newly established grassroots trade union, and at the same time requested the Executive Committee to soon stabilize the organization, promote the representative role, and care for the legitimate and lawful rights of union members and workers.
