Over 4 billion VND to take care of workers

News from the Trade Union of Nam Phuoc Commune, Da Nang City on January 17 said: The Trade Union of Nam Phuoc Commune held a Conference to summarize Trade Union activities in 2025, deploy key tasks in 2026.

In 2025, under new conditions after the organization arrangement, the Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union has gradually stabilized the apparatus, successfully organized the 1st Commune Trade Union Congress, maintaining the working order of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee.

Grassroots trade unions proactively deploy the movement, appearing with many effective models and methods; the work of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers is being implemented throughout.

Through the coordination and mobilization of resources from the City Labor Federation, commune union finances, grassroots unions, and the support of businesses and socialization, the commune union has implemented activities to care for union members and workers with a total budget of over 4 billion VND.

The content of care focuses on supporting the recovery of the consequences of floods, giving livelihoods, visiting cases of declining health, implementing union member welfare, organizing health check-ups, supporting union members in difficult circumstances and children of union members in special circumstances.

Regarding the tasks for 2026, the Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union identified the focus as continuing to innovate the content and methods of operation; developing 1,500 union members, focusing on the Huy Hoang Garment Company Limited Trade Union, enterprises in the area and Hoi An area; establishing from 57 new grassroots unions; improving the quality of grassroots union activities, building a strong union organization.

Tet care festival

Previously, the Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union launched the "Tet Caring Festival" and "Union Member and Workers' Welfare Festival" in 2026.

With the motto "All union members and workers have Tet", Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union focuses on taking practical care of the right subjects; prioritizing union members and workers in difficult circumstances, suffering from serious illnesses, having work accidents; workers in non-state units and units without trade unions.

For the "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" program in 2026, the Nam Phuoc Commune Labor Union implemented with a total resource of 450 million VND, from the City Labor Federation to support and mobilize socialization.

It is expected that the Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union will give 300 Tet gifts, each worth 1 million VND; organize a lucky draw program with a total value of 50 million VND and issue 1,000 "Trade Union Tet Booths are Not dong", each worth 100,000 VND, providing essential necessities and OCOP products to union members and workers.

In particular, the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" in 2026 received the attention, support and active support of Phan Ngoc Anh Construction Investment Company Limited, My Son World Cultural Heritage Management Board, OCOP entities and 12 affiliated grassroots trade unions, joining hands with the Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union to effectively organize activities to care for Tet for union members and workers.

With the "Welfare Festival for Union Members and Workers" in 2026, the Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union has connected and mobilized socialized resources with a total welfare value of over 1.2 billion VND.

Of which, the health care program for union members was implemented with a total budget of 545.5 million VND, through consultation, health check-ups and health screening activities for workers, supported by My Son General Clinic Company Limited with 360.5 million VND and Quang Nam Central Hospital with 135 million VND.

Through the above activities, the Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union continues to affirm its role as a representative, caregiver, and defender of the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers, contributing to the effective implementation of the breakthrough tasks of the Da Nang City Trade Union in 2026.
