Quang Tri Trade Union develops hundreds of more union members in August
Quang Tri - In August, trade unions at all levels developed hundreds of union members, contributing to strengthening the organization and enhancing the representative strength of workers.
On September 16, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) said that in August, trade unions at all levels of Quang Tri province organized many meaningful and practical activities to care for the lives of union members and workers.
The "Union Meal" activity continues to be promoted with 28 grassroots unions organizing, attracting 8,080 union members to participate. Each meal is worth from 50,000 - 80,000 VND, some places up to 170,000 VND/meal, the total cost of the whole program is about 650 million VND.
The Provincial Federation of Labor presented 140 gifts (each worth VND500,000), with a total cost of VND70.5 million to union members in especially difficult circumstances and suffering from serious illnesses.
In addition, the Provincial Federation of Labor also organized a meeting to express gratitude to generations of provincial union officials through the periods - an activity rich in humanistic meaning, recognizing the contributions to the workers' movement and trade union activities in the locality.
In August 2025, the whole province developed 255 new union members, contributing to strengthening the increasingly strong union organization.
The Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor said that in the coming time, trade unions at all levels will continue to implement a variety of activities to care for and protect workers' rights, especially in the context of many difficulties in life after the pandemic and economic fluctuations.
