Union members are more confident in understanding the law

Sharing about their experiences, Ms. Vo Thi Ngoc Suong and Ms. Nguyen Thi Chau - union members of Son Ca Kindergarten said that the contest helped them better understand the rights and obligations of union members, social insurance regimes for sickness, maternity, work-related accidents, as well as the responsibility of employers in paying insurance.

This knowledge is very practical, helping me be more proactive in protecting my own rights and supporting my colleagues when needed - Ms. Suong shared.

According to union members, the online exam format is suitable for the nature of the job, saves time and creates fair access opportunities for everyone. The contest content is systematically built, with clear questions, closely linked to reality and regularly updated, making the contest attractive and useful.

Notably, many workers in grassroots unions outside the education sector also expressed their interest. For them, the contest is not only an opportunity to improve their legal knowledge but also an opportunity to affirm the role of the Trade Union in accompanying workers.

Promoting quantity and quality

Evaluating the initial results, Mr. Phan Thanh Lan - Vice Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor - said that the participation of more than 1,300 union members shows the positive spread of the contest. We consider this one of the important channels to raise legal awareness for union members, thereby enhancing the capacity to self-defense the rights and obligations of each employee - Mr. Lan emphasized.

According to the plan, in the coming time, the Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to promote propaganda and encourage union members to participate in many flexible forms. Grassroots trade unions at all levels are assigned specific targets, while linking the contest results with the assessment of emulation and classification of annual trade union activities.

In addition, the Provincial Federation of Labor also coordinated with relevant agencies to provide documents and instructions on test-taking skills, helping union members achieve higher quality in each competition. "The goal is to both expand the quantity and ensure depth, so that each union member can truly see the practical meaning of the contest" - Mr. Lan said.

In reality, the online exam form meets the trend of digital transformation in Trade Union activities, creating conditions for union members in all localities and professions to easily participate. When workers have more knowledge, they are not only confident in protecting their rights but also actively spreading the spirit of legal knowledge in the community.

With the close direction of the Provincial Federation of Labor and the spirit of response of union members, Quang Tri hopes to continue to improve both the quantity and quality of entries, turning the contest into an extensive and sustainable movement in the life of grassroots unions.
