More than 8,000 union members in Quang Tri attend "Union Meal" on major holidays

On September 10, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor announced that on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025), the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day September 2, trade unions at all levels in the area have organized many practical activities to care for the lives of union members and workers.

Notable in the series of activities is the "Union Meal" program that was widely deployed, creating a positive spread.

28 grassroots trade unions have simultaneously organized, attracting 8,080 union members to participate. Each meal is worth from 50,000 - 80,000 VND, some places up to 170,000 VND/meal, with a rich menu, ensuring nutrition and food hygiene and safety.

The total cost of the entire program is estimated at about 650 million VND.

Not only an opportunity for union members to gather at a cozy meal after stressful working hours, the program also contributes to connecting colleagues, spreading the spirit of sharing, encouraging workers to continue to strive and stay with the enterprise for a long time.

The atmosphere of the meals took place in a joyful and warm atmosphere, many places integrated collective games, cultural exchanges to create more cohesion among the working group.
