Awarding the bravery Youth Badge to 2 young men from Quang Tri for saving drowning people

On September 8, authorized by the Central Youth Union Secretariat, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Toan - Deputy Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union presented the "Courage Youth" Badge to union member Vo Hoang Vu (Thach Ban village Youth Union) and youth Nguyen Vo Huy Cong (Tuy Loc village Youth Union), both from Le Thuy commune.

Previously, at around 9:00 p.m. on August 2, 2025, near Phong Xuan Bridge (Kien Giang River, Le Thuy Commune), a woman suddenly jumped into the river. Immediately, Vu and Cong bravely jumped into the water, bringing the victim safely to shore.

The brave act of saving people of the two young men was recognized and evaluated by the Central Youth Union as a noble gesture, demonstrating the spirit of living beautifully, living usefully, and being a shining example for union members and young people to learn and follow.
