Lang Biang - Da Lat Labor Union aims to increase 1,500 union members
Lam Dong - Lang Biang - Da Lat Ward Trade Union currently has 2,150 union members and aims to develop 1,500 more union members in the period of 2026 - 2030.
On January 3, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Loan - Chairwoman of the Lang Biang - Da Lat Ward Trade Union, Lam Dong Province - said that the unit is currently managing 38 grassroots trade unions, operating in Lang Biang - Da Lat Ward, Xuan Truong - Da Lat Ward and Lac Duong Commune, with a total of 2,150 union members and workers.
In the 2026 - 2030 period, the Lang Biang - Da Lat Ward Trade Union identified developing union members and establishing grassroots unions as key tasks, striving to increase 1,500 union members during this period.
To achieve the goal, the unit will focus on investing resources, creating changes in mobilizing workers in non-state enterprises to participate in trade unions. At the same time, promote innovation, creativity and digital transformation in activities, propaganda, support union members and workers.
Along with that, the trade union has increased dialogue, improved the quality of collective bargaining on wages, bonuses, working hours - rest, to improve the lives of workers.
According to Ms. Loan, these are practical activities to represent and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.
"We have assigned staff to closely monitor the area and review each enterprise to develop a plan. From the beginning of 2026, the unit will deploy propaganda and mobilize workers to join the trade union organization," she emphasized.
