Lam Dong starts construction of 5 "Grand Unity" houses to help people celebrate Tet happily

On January 1, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Truong Xuan commune (Lam Dong province) said that the unit had started construction of 5 "Grand Unity" houses on the occasion of New Year's Day, welcoming the new year 2026.

The "Great Unity" house building program is a key task in local social security work, contributing to the implementation of the goal of sustainable poverty reduction.

The households receiving support this time are all ethnic minority households on the spot, with many difficulties in life, damaged and degraded houses and no conditions to repair or rebuild them. Housing support helps households soon stabilize their lives and work with peace of mind.

The construction funding source is sponsored by Lam Dong Lottery Company (in 2025, phase 2) through the Lam Dong Province "For the Poor" Fund. This is an activity of profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love, mutual assistance and community responsibility.

Each house is supported with 60 million VND, built according to the level 4 house model, ensuring the "three hard" criteria: hard foundation, hard walls, hard roof. The project is expected to be completed and handed over before the Lunar New Year 2026, helping households have stable housing and celebrate Tet happily.

Ms. H-Breo, a M'Nong ethnic group in Bon Bu Pah (Truong Xuan commune) said that the house her family is living in was dilapidated while the circumstances were difficult and she could not rebuild it herself.

"I am very happy to receive support to build a house. Only when you have a new, solid house to live in can you work with peace of mind. Thank you to the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the government and the organizations for caring for and helping my family, she emotionally shared.
