Training conference on the Resolution and programs and plans of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor to implement and concretize the Resolution of the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor Congress and the Resolution of the 13th Vietnam General Confederation of Labor organized by the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor, on May 9.

The opening content of the training session, with the theme "Digital transformation and the issue of improving skills and awareness of digital transformation for cadres in the provincial trade union system" shared by Comrade Nguyen Thi Huyen - Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Quang Tri province.

Comrade Huyen said that trade union officials need to keep up with modern communication trends; promote the advantages of digital transformation to connect information about the grassroots to meet the needs of the public.

At the same time, the solution that needs to be implemented is to mobilize forces to support workers in the digital transformation process; provide information, knowledge and skills for union officials to guide union members to take drastic action to take advantage of the 4.0 revolution.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Hoai Le - Permanent Vice President of the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor discussed the core contents of the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Provincial General Confederation of Labor and the programs to implement the breakthrough; annual goals, targets, of the term, tasks and main solutions.

For trade unions at all levels in Quang Tri province, it is necessary to focus on 03 breakthroughs: Specifically dialogue, collective bargaining, focusing on wages, bonuses, conditions and working hours. Digital transformation of trade union activities, contributing to raising the ranking of Quang Tri province on the annual Digital Transformation Index (DTI) assessment ranking.

In particular, strengthen the work of mobilizing and developing union members; focus on training and fostering union cadres, especially union cadres in the non-state enterprise sector.

According to the Standing Vice President of the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor, to effectively implement the above 03 breakthroughs, trade unions at all levels need to focus on 8 groups of tasks and solutions such as: promoting the implementation of representative functions, caring for the protection of the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers. Improve the effectiveness of propaganda and mobilization work.

At the same time, innovate the content and form of emulation organization and improve the quality of reward work. Build a strong trade union, attract a large number of workers to the Vietnam Trade Union; actively participate in building the Party and government.

Along with that, strengthen the work of mobilizing female union members and workers. Build strong enough financial resources to effectively perform the functions and tasks of the Trade Union organization. Strengthen inspection and supervision of trade unions at all levels. Innovating trade union activities to adapt to new context and situations.

Comrade Nguyen Tai Minh - Vice Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor discussed the implementation of the Law on Grassroots Democracy passed by the National Assembly on November 10, 2022. Accordingly, the Law takes effect from July 1, 2023, with 6 chapters and 91 articles.

Next, Comrade Minh also presented Instruction No. 11/HD-TLD dated March 14, 2024 of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor guiding trade unions to participate in implementing democracy at the grassroots level, with 03 parts: trade unions participating in building and implementing democracy in agencies and units; trade unions participating in building and implementing democracy in employers; responsibilities of trade unions at all levels.

In addition, the training session also guides political and ideological activities on the content of the article by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong "Proud and confident under the glorious flag of the Party, determined to build an increasingly rich, civilized, civilized and heroic Vietnam".

Creating unity in implementing the Resolution

Comrade Nguyen The Lap - Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor said that through the training session, it is aimed at helping key union officials at all levels grasp the basic and core contents of the Resolution and breakthrough implementation programs, especially opportunities, challenges and goals, breakthroughs, tasks and solutions for union activities in the 2023 - 2028 term. Thereby, creating unity in awareness, raising sense of responsibility, promoting the intelligence, proactiveness and creativity of trade union cadres to implement the Congress Resolution.

This is also an extensive political activity for each union cadre, especially full-time union cadres and key cadres of trade unions at all levels to grasp and organize the implementation of the Resolution correctly, creatively and effectively. Thereby creating a vibrant emulation movement at all levels of trade unions to successfully implement the goals, targets and tasks set by the Resolution.

The dissemination of the Resolution is one of the key tasks, which must be carried out seriously and practically; clarifying new, core issues, related to local realities. Respect the responsibility of heads of trade union agencies at all levels in organizing the dissemination of the Resolution and directing, developing and implementing programs and implementation plans, comrade Lap emphasized.
