Electricity industry trade union officials study the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor
On the morning of March 28, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union held a conference to research, study, and disseminate the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Resolution of the 6th Congress of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Do Duc Hung - Chairman of Vietnam Electricity Trade Union - said that the conference was held directly at EVN Group, connecting online to level 3 units (207 bridge points) of grassroots trade unions and departmental trade unions to help the team of trade union officials in the Group grasp the basic and core contents in the documents of the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union.
Thereby organizing, directing, advising, and implementing the Resolution creatively and effectively into the practice of the workers' movement and trade union activities. The important issues of the XIII Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Documents need to be strongly spread among cadres, union members, workers, trade unions at all levels and the whole society.
At the conference, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu conveyed some basic contents in the documents of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
In particular, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu informed about the results of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; the results of the implementation of the Resolution of the 12th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (2018 - 2023); the context and situation of the 2023 - 2028 term; the goals and targets for the 2023-2028 term; 3 breakthroughs including promoting dialogue and collective bargaining, focusing on wages, bonuses, working hours, rest hours, occupational safety and hygiene; focusing on developing union members, establishing grassroots unions in non-state enterprises; building a team of grassroots union chairmen to meet the requirements of tasks, especially union chairmen in non-state enterprises...

According to Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong stated: In directing and implementing trade union activities, it is necessary to deeply grasp and thoroughly grasp that the Vietnam Trade Union is a socio-political organization operating in a socialist-oriented market economy led by the Party and managed by the State; both a socio-political organization and an organization representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.
The activities of the Trade Union are under the comprehensive and absolute leadership of the Party; the Trade Union needs to actively coordinate with the State, agencies and organizations in the political system and employers to care for, represent and protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers.
