Receiving more than 800 units of blood from the "Dot Hong Xu Hoa" festival in Lam Dong

On July 17, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation Mobilization of Lam Dong province coordinated with units to organize the Voluntary Blood Donation Day "Red Drops of the Land of Flowers" within the framework of the Red Journey - Connecting Vietnamese Blood XIV program in 2026.

From early morning, a large number of officials, civil servants, public employees, union members, youth, armed forces, workers and people in the area were present to register to participate in blood donation.

Health screening, blood reception and collection are organized in accordance with procedures, ensuring safety for donors.

At the end of the program, the Organizing Committee received 801 safe blood units, supplementing the reserve blood source to serve emergency and patient treatment.

This is a key activity of the Red Journey in Lam Dong, contributing to spreading the message "Donate blood to save people - A noble gesture"; at the same time, overcoming the situation of blood shortage for emergency and treatment, especially during the summer when blood demand increases.

Over 14 years of responding to the Red Journey, the voluntary blood donation movement in Lam Dong has increasingly developed, attracting the participation of many agencies, units, businesses and people from all walks of life.

The activity not only contributes to meeting blood needs in treatment but also spreads the spirit of sharing and compassion in the community.
