On August 28, Ms. Le Thi Bich Lan - Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairwoman of the Nghia Giang Commune Women's Union said that the Nghia Giang Commune Women's Union is implementing the model "Exchange plastic waste, receive a loving breakfast".

The model receives many participating households, they bring sorted trash bags from the family to the village cultural house, where there is a pot of loving porridge to exchange for breakfast porridge.

To have hot porridge to hand over to people in difficult circumstances in the early morning, preparation work started from 1 am. Women's Union officials, nuns and Buddhists of Dien Long Pagoda together pre-process ingredients, wash rice, prepare vegetables and cook porridge.

Nun Thich Nu Phuoc Hanh, Abbot of Dien Long Pagoda, expressed that this is a meaningful model when environmental protection is associated with activities to support those who are still in difficulty. Dien Long Pagoda has called on Buddhists to participate and will maintain the model.
