Ho Chi Minh City delegation departs to visit officers, soldiers and people in the Southwest coastal region
On September 11, the Ho Chi Minh City delegation began a working trip to visit officials, soldiers and people on islands in the Southwest sea area of the Fatherland.
On September 11, at Brigade 125, Naval Region 2, the delegation of Ho Chi Minh City departed, starting a working trip to visit officers and soldiers of Naval Region 2, Naval Region 5, DK1/10 rig and people on islands in the Southwest sea area of the Fatherland.
Attending the funeral were Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung - City Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the VFF Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Chairman of the City Farmers' Association and leaders of agencies and units.

Before departure, the delegation offered incense at the Monument to the Unnumbered Ship Team - Ho Chi Minh Trail historical site at sea, expressing deep gratitude to generations of fathers and brothers who bravely fought and sacrificed for the cause of protecting the sacred sea and island sovereignty of the Fatherland.
During the working trip, the delegation will work with leaders of the Navy, the Command of Region 2 and Region 5 Navy; visit officers and soldiers on duty on ship KN-491. Through this, delegates will directly learn about life, work, share difficulties with officers, soldiers and people in sea and island areas; contributing to spreading love and raising awareness of protecting sea and island sovereignty in the community.
In recent years, the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City have had many practical activities towards the sea, islands and borders such as contributing to the Fund "For the Homeland's Sea and Islands", "For the Frontline of the Fatherland"; implementing programs "For Truong Sa Green", "Homes for Soldiers", "Poor People in Border Areas"...
