160 million VND to rebuild a warm home for two difficult families in Tay Ninh
Tay Ninh - Two poor and near-poor households in My An commune were moved to receive Dai Doan Ket houses after nearly 2 months of construction, with a total support cost of 160 million VND.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of My An commune, Tay Ninh province, has just organized a ceremony to hand over 2 Great Solidarity houses to poor and near-poor households in hamlet 8. The two supported families are Ms. Huynh Thi Ngoc Bich's household and Ms. Tran Thi Hoa's household.
Ms. Huynh Thi Ngoc Bich's household is classified as a poor household, with particularly difficult circumstances. She currently lives with her disabled younger brother in a degraded house that is not safe during the rainy and storm season.
Meanwhile, Ms. Tran Thi Hoa's household is near-poor, the family has a stroke victim lying in one place, needing regular care. Difficult economic conditions make it impossible for the family to repair their house themselves.
Faced with the circumstances of the two families, the political system of hamlet 8 promptly reported and proposed to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of My An commune to support the construction of the house.
From this proposal, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune mobilized the Intermediate School, College of Technology and Tourism and Nguyen Tat Thanh College to sponsor a total of 160 million VND. Each house is supported with 80 million VND.
After nearly 2 months of construction, the 2 houses were completed, ensuring the criteria of Great Solidarity houses, were accepted and put into use. At the handover ceremony, Ms. Huynh Thi Ngoc Bich and representatives of Ms. Tran Thi Hoa's family emotionally thanked the local government, the Mobilization Committee and supporting units.
On this occasion, the sponsoring unit and local leaders also presented many congratulatory gifts to the two families.
The two new houses not only help families have a safer place to live but also open up more hope to stabilize their lives and gradually rise out of poverty.
