Cao Van Trien is not only known as a persistent and fighting midfielder on the pitch, but also a beautiful image of a loyal player, always determined to return to his homeland and community.

For him, football is also a means to spread love, connect kind-hearted people, especially those in difficult circumstances in his hometown of Hoai Hai (old Hoai Nhon town, Binh Dinh).

Born and raised in the sunny and windy sea, Cao Van Trien understands better than anyone the hardships and shortages of his hometown's people. His childhood associated with the salty taste of the sea, with the precarious life of fishermen, left him with deep sympathy.

He regularly and his family and relatives provide financial support to difficult circumstances in the locality, and at the same time called for the support of friends and fans through the Fatherland Front and local authorities.

On his personal page, fans rarely see him posting photos of playing, scoring or flashy moments of a professional player. Instead, most of the articles revolve around calls for help to help the poor, announcements to mobilize support for families in trouble.

For Trien, sharing is the responsibility of children far from home, not something that needs to be exaggerated.

In 2020, Cao Van Trien and his friends established a charity fund called " Wave of Love". Through this fund, many meaningful activities have been organized regularly, notably grassroots charity football tournaments in their hometown.

In 2021, he and his close friends organized the football tournament " Wave of Love - Xuan Tan Suu 2021", raising more than 42 million VND and 1 ton of rice to give Tet gifts to disadvantaged families and orphans, helping them have a warmer Tet. This is also a periodic program that Trien and his friends have maintained annually until now.

In recent years, Cao Van Trien has also regularly organized charity matches, or participated in football to raise funds. He always silently sows love to everyone, especially the people of his hometown.

Sharing about his motivation to do charity work, Cao Van Trien once expressed that he simply wanted to do what he could for his hometown: "I just do whatever I can for my hometown. There are many places in the world that are much more miserable than me, they need to be shared.

The midfielder born in 1993 also said that being able to directly give small gifts to the people, especially during difficult times due to natural disasters and epidemics, brought him no less happiness than the feeling of victory on the pitch.
