Receiving 108 million VND mistakenly transferred, a young man in Hung Yen asked the police to return it
Hung Yen - On January 14, according to the Provincial Police, the Bac Dong Quan Commune Police have just supported people in returning money transferred by mistake.
Previously, at around 7:30 p.m. on January 6, Bac Dong Quan Commune Police, Hung Yen Province received a report from Mr. Nguyen Quang L (born in 1999, residing in Bac Dong Quan Commune, Hung Yen Province) about receiving money transferred by others by mistake; at the same time, requested the Commune Police to support the return of money to the person who transferred the money by mistake to his account number.
According to Mr. Nguyen Quang L, on January 2, he suddenly received 108,000,000 VND from some strange accounts transferred to his account. Because he did not know who the money transferred was, and did not see anyone contact him about the mistaken money transfer, Mr. L went to Bac Dong Quan Commune Police to report to be supported in resolving the matter.
Immediately after receiving the information, Bac Dong Quan Commune Police promptly conducted verification.
Through verification, the Commune Police identified the person who mistakenly transferred money to Mr. Linh's account number as Ms. T.T.T (born in 1994, residing in Tan Hai commune, Lam Dong province). Due to the geographical distance, Bac Dong Quan Commune Police contacted and requested Tan Hai Commune Police to coordinate and return 108,000,000 VND to Ms. T. At the same time, instruct the relevant parties to return the above amount in accordance with the provisions of law, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of citizens.
