Vinh Long - Handing over 3 Great Solidarity houses to help households with housing difficulties in Tra On commune stabilize their lives and feel secure in developing the economy.

On July 9, the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Tra On commune coordinated with the Tu Van Monastery Charity Association (Ho Chi Minh City) to organize a ceremony to hand over 3 Great Solidarity houses to households in difficult housing circumstances in the area.

Three houses were awarded to Ms. Phan Thi My Lien (Tich Phuoc hamlet), Ms. Huynh Thi Hai and Ms. Le Thi Hong (all residing in My Loi hamlet). Each house was supported by the Tuong Van Monastery Charity Association with 60 million VND for construction, helping families stabilize their accommodation.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Thuy - Vice Chairwoman of Tra On Commune People's Committee - thanked Tuong Van Monastery Charity and philanthropists for accompanying the locality in social security work, supporting people to overcome difficulties.

Local leaders also hope that families will continue to strive to develop the economy, use and preserve new houses, gradually improve the quality of life, contributing to building warm, happy and sustainable families.

On this occasion, local authorities, Tu Van Monastery Charity Association and sponsoring units presented many gifts and cash to congratulate households on moving into new houses, adding motivation for families to stabilize their lives.

Since the beginning of the year, the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tra On commune have mobilized socialized resources to support the construction of 28 Great Solidarity houses, with a support level of 60-100 million VND per house, contributing to poverty reduction and ensuring social security.
