Hanoi City Labor Federation receives Delegation of the General Confederation of Labor of China

At the meeting, leaders of the Hanoi City Labor Federation informed about the socio-economic situation of Hanoi and the outstanding results of the City Labor Union since the beginning of the year.

Accordingly, after streamlining the organizational apparatus of the political system according to the policies of the Party, State and the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Hanoi Party Committee, the City Labor Federation is currently managing and directly directing 6,349 grassroots trade unions with more than 629,000 union members; the City Labor Federation is establishing 85 commune, ward and Hanoi High-Tech Park and Industrial Park Trade Unions.

Discussing the implementation of the work of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers, Mr. Luu Phi - Deputy Head of the Legal Affairs Department of the General Confederation of Labor of China, Head of the Delegation of the General Confederation of Labor of China said that the General Confederation of Labor of China has proactively and actively coordinated with the legislative body in developing legal policies related to workers and trade unions; coordinated with judicial agencies and courts to support workers in resolving labor disputes; actively participated in supervising the implementation of policies for workers...

On this occasion, Mr. Luu Phi expressed his hope that the two sides will continue to promote exchange activities, share experiences, good models, and creative ways of doing things to improve the effectiveness of trade union activities of each side.

One of the hopes of the Hanoi City Labor Federation is that the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the General Confederation of Labor of China will pay attention and create conditions for the Hanoi Trade Union and the Beijing General Confederation of Labor to continue to strengthen cooperation in a number of cooperation contents such as exchanging delegations, sharing experiences in building modern inspection processes, applying technology to supervision; organizing seminars and thematic seminars; cooperating in training, fostering, and coaching to improve the capacity of inspection staff; sharing information, documents, etc.
