Nghe An - Helping people overcome the consequences of floods in Muong Xen commune, the police found gold necklaces and phones buried in mud.

On July 29, information from Nghe An Provincial Police said that the police force had just found a valuable property buried in mud and had returned it to the people.

On July 28, when participating in supporting the recovery of flood consequences in block 4, Muong Xen commune (old Ky Son district), Working Group No. 03 of Nghe An Provincial Police discovered a sealed plastic bag deep in the mud. Inside were a gold necklace and a Samsung phone, worth nearly 100 million VND.

After verification, the police force quickly returned the property to the owner, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tan (born in 1956, residing in block 4, Muong Xen commune).

Receiving valuable assets from the police officer, Ms. Tan emotionally shared: "The flood came so quickly, the whole family only had time to escape, all of the assets were buried in mud. Fortunately, the police officers did not mind the hardships, helping the people clean up and find the property that I thought was lost forever. I am truly grateful to you.

This is one of many practical and humane tasks that Nghe An Police are doing during peak days to help people in flooded areas stabilize their lives soon.
