Tuong Mai Ward Trade Union manages 79 grassroots trade unions
Hanoi After the arrangement, the Tuong Mai Ward Trade Union currently has 79 grassroots unions with a total of 3,794 union members.
Regarding organization, the Ward Union has guided the dossier to merge the Giap Bat Kindergarten and Binh Minh Kindergarten Unions. The ward union has also completed reviewing the local unions, grasping the number of union members and making many proposals to rearrange the organizational system accordingly: Transfer 15 unions located outside the area to other wards; at the same time, propose to stop operations for 8 unions with no more union members or units that have stopped production and business...
The work of caring for the lives of union members and workers continues to be focused on by the Phuong Mai Ward Labor Union. In particular, the Ward Union has reviewed and compiled a list of union members and workers affected by storms No. 10 and 11 to propose timely support from the Hanoi City Labor Federation.
The difficult circumstances of female union members and workers were also counted and support requests were sent to the Hanoi City Labor Federation. In addition, the Trade Union guides grassroots Trade Unions to prepare documents to propose special support for cases of work-related accidents and sudden illnesses, helping union members access policies in accordance with regulations and at the right time.
