Hoa Lu Ward Trade Union launches Workers' Month with many practical activities
Ninh Binh - On April 21, Hoa Lu Ward Trade Union organized a launching ceremony for Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Dinh Thi Dao - Chairwoman of Hoa Lu Ward Trade Union - said that in recent years, Workers' Month has always been organized by Hoa Lu Ward Trade Union with many widespread and meaningful activities, associated with Action Month activities on occupational safety and health. Thereby promoting the role of workers in the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland, and socio-economic development.

At the same time, affirming the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers. This is also an opportunity to raise the awareness of employers in implementing activities to create motivation and a vibrant emulation atmosphere, contributing to the successful implementation of the set targets and tasks.
In Workers' Month and Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health in 2026, Hoa Lu Ward Trade Union set out specific goals such as: striving for 70% of enterprises with 100 or more employees to implement at least 1 activity to respond to Workers' Month; 50% or more of grassroots trade unions to have at least 1 activity to respond to the Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health.

Strive for 5-10% of union members and workers to participate in proposing initiatives, technical improvements, and solutions to improve labor productivity, of which at least 30% of initiatives are applied in practice at agencies, units, and businesses.
In addition, the Ward Trade Union will coordinate to organize activities to visit union members and children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances, suffering from serious illnesses, and work accidents. At the same time, organize dialogues and negotiations to sign new collective labor agreements. Promote propaganda and admission of union members, establish new grassroots trade unions; coordinate with businesses to organize occupational safety and health training; organize cultural and sports activities, legal advice, health checks...

At the launching ceremony, Hoa Lu Ward Trade Union presented 10 bicycles and 10 gifts worth tens of millions of VND to children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances. Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation also presented 20 gifts with a total amount of 20 million VND to families of union members and workers in particularly difficult circumstances suffering from dangerous diseases.
The Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Lu ward also presented 5 gifts, each worth 3 million VND, to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Also at the launching ceremony of Workers' Month 2026, leaders of Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation awarded Certificates of Merit from Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation to 3 collectives and 9 individuals with outstanding achievements in Trade Union activities in 2025.
