Giving gifts to encourage union members in difficult circumstances on Workers' Month
Lam Dong - Tien Thanh Ward Trade Union has given gifts to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances, affected by natural disasters on the occasion of Workers' Month.
On May 20, Ms. Dao Thi Ha Ny - Chairwoman of Tien Thanh Ward Trade Union (Lam Dong province) said that the unit had organized visits and presented gifts to 34 union members in difficult circumstances and suffering from dangerous diseases in the area.
Each gift is worth 500,000 VND. In addition, Tien Thanh Ward Trade Union also authorized the Provincial Labor Federation to award 2 support packages to 2 union members affected by the 3rd flood in 2025.
A total of 36 union members and workers received support with a total budget of 18 million VND. The funding is deducted from the Golden Heart Charity Fund and the support of the Provincial Labor Federation on the occasion of Workers' Month and Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.
According to the Tien Thanh Ward Trade Union, this is a practical care activity for union members and workers in difficult circumstances, especially those affected by natural disasters and diseases.
The gifts not only provide material support but also show the companionship of the trade union organization, helping union members have more motivation to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives and feel secure in their work.
