Workers' Day in Workers' Month 2026 in Bac Ninh

This is an event in response to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.

Attending the program were Comrade Thach Van Chung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee Member, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, along with leaders of Bac Giang ward, grassroots trade unions and a large number of union members and workers in the area.

The program took place sôi nổi with special art performances by union members and workers of units, praising the Party, beloved Uncle Ho, the homeland and the Vietnamese working class.

Speaking at the opening of the program, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Hien - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation, Chairman of Bac Giang Ward Trade Union emphasized: Workers' Month is an opportunity for trade union levels to care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; and at the same time create a useful playground, strengthen the connection between the trade union organization and union members and workers.

At the program, the Bac Giang Ward Trade Union announced the decision to establish 2 grassroots trade unions, including the Trade Union of Gilimex Bac Giang Industrial Park Joint Stock Company and the Trade Union of Bac Giang LNG Technical Joint Stock Company.

On this occasion, grassroots trade unions in the area have admitted 358 new trade union members, contributing to continuing to expand trade union organizations and improve the efficiency of gathering workers.

On the occasion of Workers' Month 2026, the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation presented 19 gifts to typical union members and workers with many achievements in labor production and trade union activities; presented 31 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, each gift including gifts worth VND 305,000 and VND 500,000 in cash to encourage and share with workers.

Also within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee awarded souvenirs to 20 grassroots trade unions participating in tug-of-war and sack dancing events with the participation of 17 tug-of-war teams and 16 sack dancing teams. Sports activities took place sôi nổi, attracting a large number of union members and workers to cheer, creating a joyful and united atmosphere in Workers' Month.

Bac Giang Workers' Day 2026" is a practical activity showing the concern of the trade union organization for union members and workers; contributing to caring for material and spiritual life, strengthening the connection between union members and workers with the trade union organization, building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
