Cooling down summer for workers amidst intense heat
Nghe An - Quan Thanh Commune Trade Union coordinates with businesses to donate 3,000 bottles of soft drinks to union members and workers in the "Heather Cooling Summer" program.
On July 1st, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation said that the Quan Thanh Commune Trade Union has coordinated with the grassroots Trade Union of VietFast Co., Ltd. to organize the "Heather Cooling Summer" program, contributing to caring for and encouraging union members and workers working at the enterprise.
At the program, the organizers presented 3,000 bottles of soft drinks to union members and workers with a total budget of 15 million VND. The gifts, although not of great material value, show the concern, sharing and responsibility of the trade union organization towards workers working in hot weather conditions.
The "Hire Cooling Summer" program is a practical activity, demonstrating the companion role of trade union organizations and businesses in caring for the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers. Thereby, contributing to encouraging workers to feel secure in their work, enthusiastically compete in labor production, improve productivity, quality and efficiency of work.
This is also an activity in response to the peak period to celebrate the anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union, contributing to spreading the image of the trade union organization always being close, oriented towards grassroots levels, taking union members and workers as the center in all activities.
