Giving Tet gifts to lighthouse station staff on Hon Hai island
Lam Dong - A delegation of provincial leaders and Military Region 7 visited and presented Tet gifts to maritime safety assurance staff at Hon Hai Island.
On January 28, Phu Quy Special Zone People's Committee said that a working delegation including leaders of Lam Dong province and Military Region 7 had arrived at Hon Hai island to visit, encourage and give gifts to lighthouse station staff who are on duty to ensure maritime safety here.

Hon Hai Island belongs to the Phu Quy Special Zone, about 160km from the mainland and about 32 nautical miles from the special zone center.
This is also where the A6 milestone is located - the point marking Vietnam's baseline, considered the furthest point of the internal waters border in the South China Sea region.
This point is also of particular importance in affirming the sacred sea and island sovereignty of the Fatherland.

Currently, there are items on the island such as the lighthouse, A6 milestone, helicopter landing pad...
Currently, there are 5 officials and employees of the South Central Coast Maritime Safety Assurance Company on duty on the island, performing the task of operating, maintaining the lighthouse and ensuring maritime safety for ships passing through this area.

The working delegation led by Mr. Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation as Head of the delegation directly visited, presented gifts and sent words of encouragement to officials and employees of Hon Hai Lighthouse Station.
The working delegation acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit of responsibility, perseverance, and stickiness of the staff working in particularly harsh conditions in the open sea.

On this occasion, the working delegation also inspected the actual milestone of the A6 base road.
The milestone stands majestically on the highest peak of the island, standing proudly in the sea and sky, as a symbol of the steadfast will of the people who day and night guard the sea and island sovereignty of the Fatherland.

Right next to it is the Hon Hai lighthouse - the "sea eye" that illuminates and guides ships, bringing peace of mind to fishermen in each offshore trip.
