Binh Ngo Tet gifts handed to workers and policy families in Can Tho

On the afternoon of February 4th, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) coordinated with the Can Tho City VGCL to visit and present gifts to union members, workers and policy families in Chau Thanh, Dong Phuoc and Phu Huu communes on the occasion of Binh Ngo spring 2026.

Attending were Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; leaders of the Can Tho City Labor Federation, the Management Board of Export Processing and Industrial Zones of the city and localities.

The activity aims to encourage policy families, union members, workers, and laborers in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Tet and spring.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - hoped that the gifts and feelings of the Trade Union organization and local Party committees and authorities would help policy families, union members, workers, and laborers in the area celebrate a joyful Tet, filled with love and happiness.

The Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor hopes that in 2026 and the following years, policy families will try to overcome difficulties and rise up in life. Union members, workers, and laborers need to strive to improve their professional qualifications, work productively and with high quality, and contribute more and more to the development of units and localities.

At the same time, he hoped that the Party committees, authorities, and local Trade Unions would pay attention, care for, and support policy families and workers so that they could promote their roles and strengths, making positive contributions to the socio-economic development of the city.

The organizing committee presented 100 Tet gifts to union members, workers and policy families in the area. Each gift included 1 million VND in cash and a gift worth 300,000 VND.
