Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu presents Tet gifts to workers in difficult circumstances

On February 11, the Trade Union of Thieu Hoa commune, Thanh Hoa province organized the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" for union members and workers in the area. Attending the program was Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

Also attending were Ms. Trinh Thi Hoa - Vice Chairwoman of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, representatives of leaders of Thieu Hoa commune, commune Trade Union and a large number of union members and workers.

Speaking at the program, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu expressed his joy and excitement when his homeland is increasingly innovating and developing, and at the same time wished trade union levels in Thanh Hoa province in general and Thieu Hoa commune in particular, along with the team of workers, civil servants, and laborers to continue to strive and strive to build an increasingly developed locality.

The Vice Chairman requested Thanh Hoa trade union levels to continue to better perform the function of caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; pay special attention to difficult cases, people with dangerous diseases, families with husbands and children who are sick for a long time, especially during Tet, with the motto of not letting any union members or workers not have Tet.

At the program, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu, along with representatives of the Provincial Labor Federation and leaders of Thieu Hoa commune, presented hundreds of gifts to policy families, poor people and workers in difficult circumstances. Among them, there were 130 gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, with a total value of 170 million VND, and 58 gifts from the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation.

In addition to activities in Thieu Hoa commune, on the same morning, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu also came to Thieu Trung Commune Trade Union to present 50 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Tet and Spring.
