Bringing Tet Sum vay to union members and workers in An Giang

On February 8, in Rach Gia ward, An Giang Provincial Labor Federation organized the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" for union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the province.

According to the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation, the program is organized with many practical activities, bringing material benefits and fostering spiritual values for union members and workers after a year of hard work. This is also an opportunity for Party and State leaders and business owners to meet, encourage, wish Tet, and give gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances; creating a joyful Spring atmosphere, welcoming a warm and meaningful Tet.

The activity aims to concretize the direction of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial Party Committee, and the People's Committee of An Giang province on organizing care and celebrating Binh Ngo Tet 2026 among the people in general and among union members and workers in particular.

Ms. Tran Cheo Luon, a worker at Hwaseung Rach Gia Co., Ltd., expressed: "I and other workers are very happy when Tet comes and the Company and the Trade Union organization pay attention to creating conditions to take care of life and Tet gifts. Everyone feels very excited, everyone tries to work better and welcome the new year happily.

According to the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation, this year's Binh Ngo Lunar New Year, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation used Trade Union financial resources to present 12,500 Tet gifts to union members and workers, with a total amount of 12.5 billion VND. In this program alone, gifts were presented to 300 union members and workers.

Chairman of An Giang Provincial Labor Federation Do Tran Thinh said: "The gifts are not of great value, but it is the sincere concern and deep gratitude of the Trade Union organization for union members and workers in difficult circumstances during Tet and Spring. The Trade Union organization is always by your side to share so that this Tet is more complete. I also call on everyone to emulate in labor, creativity, work safely and effectively, and work with higher responsibility. Thereby strongly spreading the spirit of emulation, together overcoming difficulties and striving to complete the work well.

Previously, on February 6, the Provincial Labor Federation organized the Tet Sum vay Program at the Labor Culture House, Long Xuyen ward, and presented 300 gifts (each gift worth 1 million VND including gifts and cash) to union members and workers.
