Workers in Nam Dinh excitedly receive gifts for the New Year of the Trade Union
Union members and workers in Nam Dinh are happy and excited to receive Tet gifts from Trade Unions at all levels.
On January 12, at Nghia Hung District Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Phan Van Anh and the working delegation visited and presented 100 gifts to union members, workers and people in difficult circumstances in Nghia Hung district on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.
According to the report of Nghia Hung District Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited, in 2024, the working conditions of employees will improve, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene. The company has provided personal protective equipment to employees, with a total amount of more than 220 million VND. Major projects are equipped with and supplemented with adequate living tools so that union members and employees can feel secure in sticking with the project and completing assigned tasks well.
In particular, on holidays and Tet, the company has gifts to support workers and civil servants. The Executive Board of the Company's Trade Union always maintains the visit and encouragement of union members, employees and relatives of union members and employees who are sick... In 2024, the company's trade union visited and supported union members and employees with a total amount of 148 million VND.
Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Mr. Phan Van Anh - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - was pleased and highly appreciated the achievements of Nghia Hung District Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited in the past year. At the same time, he acknowledged the timely care and concern of the company's leaders and trade unions for union members and employees during this Tet holiday.
Receiving Tet gifts from the Union, Ms. Hoang Thi Ngoc Minh (worker at Nghia Hung District Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited) emotionally shared: "We, the union members, and the workers are very excited to receive Tet gifts. In addition to gifts in kind, we are also given cash, with this amount of money, I will buy some more candy, jams for Tet... for my family to celebrate Tet".
Previously, the Nghia Hung District Labor Federation (Nam Dinh Province) organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" and presented gifts to 100 union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the district.
