Nha Trang University Trade Union brings Tet to each union member

Khanh Hoa - Nha Trang University Trade Union organizes the program "Tet reunion - Wrapping green banh chung" warmly for officials, lecturers, and workers.

On the morning of February 8th, more than 200 officials, lecturers, and employees of Nha Trang University participated in the program "Tet reunion - Wrapping green banh chung 2026", bringing a warm and traditionally rich atmosphere to welcome Binh Ngo Spring.

The program is organized by the Trade Union of Nha Trang University in the school grounds. This is the second year the activity has been implemented, aiming to create a space for reunion during the Lunar New Year, and at the same time contribute to preserving and spreading the values of Vietnamese traditional Tet to union members and students at home and abroad.

According to Mr. Tran Trong Dao - Chairman of the Trade Union of Nha Trang University, the whole school currently has more than 700 trade union members. On the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, the Trade Union coordinates with the school to organize many activities to care for the lives of union members and workers.

Specifically, each union member was given a Tet gift including necessities for Tet, worth 600,000 VND/gift.

In addition, the school's Trade Union presented 85 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, heavily affected by the November 2025 floods, from the support of the Vietnam Education Union.

The highlight of the program is the banh chung wrapping activity with the participation of all departments, divisions, and centers directly under the school. The school's Trade Union prepares enough ingredients such as dong leaves, bamboo strings, sticky rice, green beans and pork.

This year, more than 200 officials, lecturers, staff and a large number of Vietnamese and international students enthusiastically participated in wrapping banh chung.

It is expected that about 500 banh chung will be wrapped, cooked and handed over to union members and workers to celebrate Tet.

Participating in the program, Mr. Pham Thanh Binh, from the Trade Union of the Organization and Office of Nha Trang University, shared, "Every time Tet approaches, the atmosphere of wrapping banh chung evokes many memories from childhood to adulthood.

Each cake is a skillful care to make the cake firm, beautiful, green and delicious and send feelings and wishes for a complete and peaceful new year to everyone.
