Dong Nai Trade Union visits and presents gifts to 3 workers in the suspected CO gas poisoning case in Dong Nai

On the afternoon of May 26, the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor and the Vinh Cuu District Federation of Labor visited Thong Nhat General Hospital (Bien Hoa City) to visit, encourage and give gifts to 3 workers injured in the suspected CO gas poisoning incident at Phuong Nam Ceramic Tile Joint Stock Company (Tan An Commune, Vinh Cuu District).

Here, the working group of the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor and the Vinh Cuu District Federation of Labor was informed by the hospital leaders about the health status of the 3 workers being treated at the hospital, Dang Cao Hien (44 years old, residing in Bac Tan Uyen district, Binh Duong province), Nguyen Tan Huy (34 years old) and Le Van Ngoc (40 years old, all residing in Vinh Cuu district, Dong Nai).

Currently, these 3 workers are alert and have stable vital signs. According to the reporter's records, although the 3 workers were still in poor health, they were now talking normally.

Here, Ms. Bui Thi Nhan - Vice President of the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor presented gifts to 3 workers, each gift worth 5 million VND/case. In addition, the Vinh Cuu District Labor Federation also presented gifts to 3 workers.

For the 2 deaths, N.L.S. (38 years old, living in Vinh Cuu district, Dong Nai province) and N.H.Q.L. (26 years old, residing in Bac Tan Uyen district, Binh Duong province), Dong Nai Trade Union continues to visit, encourage workers' families and support 10 million VND/case.

According to initial assessment, the incident occurred at around 1:00 a.m. on May 26 at Phuong Nam Ceramic Tile Joint Stock Company, killing 2 people and injuring 3 others.

Currently, Dong Nai Provincial Police are urgently investigating to clarify the cause of the incident.
