Ca Mau Trade Union takes care of Tet for workers

On the afternoon of February 5th, at the Bac Lieu Ward Trade Union, the Ca Mau Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized the "Tet reunion - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" Binh Ngo 2026 program, giving Tet gifts and supporting Trade Union Shelter houses to union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the area.

Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Le Thanh Trieu - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province; Ms. To Viet Thu - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Bac Lieu ward; Mr. Ngo Vu Thang - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province; Ms. Huynh Ut Muoi - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial Labor Federation; along with representatives of leaders of departments, agencies, branches, unions and more than 200 typical union members and workers.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Huynh Ut Muoi - Chairwoman of the Ca Mau Provincial Labor Federation - said that the program "Tet reunion - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" is a practical activity, showing the concern of the Party, State and Trade Union organization for the lives of union members and workers, especially those who are still facing many difficulties. Chairwoman of the Ca Mau Labor Federation emphasized that through the program, the Trade Union organization wishes to add motivation for union members and workers to feel secure in working and attached to agencies, units, and businesses.

According to the Ca Mau Provincial Labor Federation, during the Binh Ngo Tet 2026, the whole province has nearly 10,000 union members and workers receiving Tet gifts with a total budget of more than 8 billion VND. The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also supported 3,570 shopping vouchers on e-commerce platforms, each voucher worth 500,000 VND, along with many other support sources from levels, sectors, and businesses. At the program in Bac Lieu Ward Trade Union, the Organizing Committee directly presented gifts to more than 200 union members and workers from many agencies, units, and businesses in the area.

Moved when receiving Tet gifts, Ms. Le Thi Lan - a union member of Minh Hai Seafood Joint Stock Company - shared that her family's circumstances are still difficult, so the timely care and support of the Trade Union organization helps her have more faith and motivation to continue to stick with her work. "These gifts are not only of material value but also a great source of spiritual encouragement for us during Tet," Ms. Lan said.

In addition to taking care of Tet, on this occasion, the Ca Mau Provincial Labor Federation also awarded support for Trade Union Shelter houses to union members facing housing difficulties.

In 2026, the Provincial Trade Union supported the new construction and repair of 7 Trade Union Warm Houses, with a total budget of 325 million VND. At the program, the Organizing Committee presented a symbolic board supporting the construction of Trade Union Warm Houses to Ms. Le Thi Tuyet Ngan - a trade union member of Bac Lieu Urban Service Center.

Receiving the support sign, Ms. Tuyet Ngan expressed her joy and emotion when her dream of having a solid house is about to become a reality. She said that this is a great source of encouragement for her family to feel secure and stabilize their lives, continue to strive to work, and complete the assigned tasks well.
