Workers celebrate the 14th Congress with practical initiatives

Ms. Vu Thi Thu Huyen (born in 1981), a member of the Central Enterprise Trade Union (MTC 19.5) has been quietly contributing to the enterprise with practical initiatives for many years.

Ms. Huyen is one of 5 officials of the Central Enterprise to Hanoi to attend the conference to summarize 2025 and deploy the 2026 plan of the 19.5 Company. She is currently a Deputy Head of Planning and Technology Department, a union member of Company 19.5. Over the past 5 years, her working and dedication process has been a vivid testament to the creativity of workers attached to the factory and enterprise.

Responding to emulation movements in 2021-2022, as Deputy Head of the Technical Improvement Research Department, she actively researched, proposed processes, and applied acupressure to improve quality, increase productivity, and income for workers.

From 2021 to present, the Technical Improvement Research Board she participated in has had 26 initiatives applied to production, helping to save more than 332 million working seconds.

In 2023-2024, Ms. Huyen directly researched 5 technical initiatives that were recognized and widely applied throughout the Enterprise. Typical initiatives include sewing handles, sleeve presses, sewing handles with folding wire and handles on a 2-spoke machine, helping to shorten each operation by 8-10.5 seconds, increase productivity, improve the quality of military products.

Thanks to her outstanding achievements, for 3 consecutive years (2021 - 2023), Ms. Huyen achieved the title of "Grassroots Emulation Fighter"; continuously achieved the title of "Excellent Trade Union Member" for many consecutive years; was honored by the People's Public Security Trade Union for her outstanding work in 2021, 2022... In particular, she was awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Minister of Public Security for "Winning the Award of Outstanding Trade Union Member of the People's Public Security Trade Union in 2023; the Minister of Public Security awarded the Certificate of Merit for "Having outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "For National Security" in the period of 2021 - 2022, contributing to protecting national security and ensuring social order and safety.

Happiness in Dedication

Talking to Lao Dong reporter, Ms. Huyen said: "I am happy to always devote myself to building a plan to improve product quality. During that process, I imitated the competitive spirit of the agency and the trade union".

According to Ms. Huyen, these days, the Garment workshop and Enterprise in the Central region are always bustling with production.

"We do not wait until the 14th National Party Congress to work enthusiastically, but to live in the days of the country being excited, the flags and flowers covering the sky, the women work even harder, not day and night. Everyone believes in contributing and creating more, first of all creating beautiful, quality products, contributing to the construction of factories and companies; then contributing to the industry, more broadly to the country. We want to achieve more outstanding achievements to celebrate the 14th Party Congress, celebrate the Party, celebrate spring...", Ms. Huyen said emotionally.

According to Mr. Le Van Quyet - Chairman of the Trade Union of 19.5 Company, the company has 1,165 officers, employees and employees, including 1,137 union members. In recent times, the professional and trade union have always thoroughly grasped and launched emulation movements during the unit's conferences. Emulation content is flexibly and creatively integrated into production, helping workers participate naturally and enthusiastically, not leniently or participate out of obligation.

Mr. Quyet said that in 2026, the emulation work closely followed the slogan of the entire People's Public Security Forces " becoming a model in the lead, accelerating the implementation of the Party's policies and the State's laws; building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern People's Public Security".

Accordingly, the trade union focuses on further improving the quality of the emulation movement "good workers, creative workers" among union officials, employees, and union members; striving to complete and exceed the assigned production plan within the prescribed time limit; strengthening research, design and product quality management, ensuring productivity and quality in accordance with technical requirements, saving costs, and reducing product costs.
