Thanh Hoa Trade Union mobilizes nearly 2,000 ao dai sets to give to female workers
Thanh Hoa - In order to care for and create a joyful atmosphere on March 8th, trade union levels have called and mobilized thousands of ao dai sets to give to female workers.
On March 5, at Aleron Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd. (in Hoang Long Industrial Park, Nguyet Vien ward, Thanh Hoa province), Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Company's Trade Union to organize the program "Giving Ao Dai, sending love, preserving traditional beauty" for female workers at the company.
Attending the program were representatives of leaders of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, leaders of Aleron Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd., the Company's Trade Union and hundreds of workers.
At the program, Mr. Le Chung Van - Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Women's Affairs Department, Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation said that the program "Giving Ao Dai, sending love, preserving traditional beauty" is a practical work, contributing to caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers, especially female workers in difficult circumstances in the province.
The program also aims to honor the value of Ao Dai in social life, arouse pride and responsibility to preserve and promote Vietnamese cultural heritage; and at the same time create solidarity, attachment and sharing among female officials, union members, and workers.
At the program, representatives of the leaders of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation presented 500 sets of ao dai (80% of the value left) and 15 new union ao dai. Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Union presented more than 40 sets and Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank presented 300 sets.
According to the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, implementing the plan to organize activities of the Provincial Female Union Member and Laborer Club in the first phase of 2026 and implementing the program "Giving Ao Dai, sending love, preserving traditional beauty" for female workers, to date, trade union levels in the province have mobilized and donated nearly 2,000 Ao Dai sets from units inside and outside the province.
