Lao Cai Trade Union brings social security policies closer to workers
Lao Cai - Trade union's legal advice and social insurance and health insurance policies booth contributes to raising awareness and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers.
In the bustling atmosphere before the Lunar New Year, from February 2nd to 5th, 2026, the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation in coordination with the Provincial Social Insurance and Yen Bai - Tran Yen Regional Post Office organized the opening of a booth to propagate, advise, and answer questions on social insurance, health insurance policies and Trade Union laws at GO! Yen Bai Trade Center.
At the booth, union members, workers and people were propagated and disseminated new points of the Trade Union Law, Social Insurance Law, and amended Health Insurance Law in 2024.
The consulting content focuses on the rights of employees; contribution levels, methods of participating in voluntary social insurance and household health insurance; the meaning and humanity of social security policies, as well as the risks and disadvantages when not participating or choosing to receive one-time social insurance benefits.
In addition, professional staff directly answer questions, guide the installation and use of the VssID - Digital Social Insurance application, and at the same time mobilize people receiving pensions, social insurance allowances and policies to implement payments through non-cash payment methods.
Through this activity, Lao Cai Trade Union and Provincial Social Insurance continue to affirm the determination to innovate the content and methods of propaganda, bringing policies, laws and social security closer to union members, workers and people in daily life.
