Latest level of support for grassroots security and order teams in Da Nang

The Labor Law Consulting Department said:

For forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, whether their allowances increase or not depends on the policies of each province and city.

Because the allowance level for this force is not applied uniformly nationwide but is decided by the Provincial People's Council based on the socio-economic conditions of each locality.

Many provinces and cities across the country calculate allowances and support for grassroots security and order teams according to a coefficient multiplied by the base salary. Some localities also stipulate allowance levels with absolute fixed amounts.

In Da Nang, based on Resolution 25/2024/NQ-HĐND of the City People's Council on Regulations on regimes, policies, and conditions to ensure operations for forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level in the city, then:

The monthly regular support level for forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level is as follows:

Team leader: 1.0 base salary level.

Deputy team leader: 0.8 base salary level.

0.6 base salary level.

From July 1, 2026, the base salary is 2,530,000 VND, the allowance level of the grassroots security and order team is:

In case people participating in the Security and Order Protection Team concurrently hold other titles or other subjects concurrently hold people participating in the Security and Order Protection Team, they are entitled to 1 monthly allowance and support level according to the title with the highest allowance and support level; the remaining title is entitled to 50% according to the monthly allowance and support level according to regulations.

The Resolution also states the level of allowance when performing tasks from 10 pm the previous day to 6 am the next morning, on holidays, Tet holidays; support when performing tasks in border areas, islands, mountainous areas, areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions, ethnic minority areas or at key commune-level administrative units on national defense:

The allowance level when performing duties from 10 pm the previous day to 6 am the next morning is 65,000 VND/person/night. The maximum support level is no more than 10 nights/person/month.

Level of allowance when performing duties on holidays, public holidays, Tet holidays:

Support when on duty on weekly holidays is 100,000 VND/day and the maximum benefit level is no more than 2 days/person/month.

Support when performing tasks on holidays and Tet is 150,000 VND/day. In addition to the above support level for performing tasks, forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level are entitled to other supports according to regulations...
