Subsidy level for grassroots security and order teams in Thanh Hoa from July 1st

The Labor Law Consulting Department said: The base salary applied from July 1, 2026 is 2,530,000 VND/month.

For forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, whether their allowances increase or not depends on the policies of each province and city.

Because the allowance level for this force is not applied uniformly nationwide but is decided by the Provincial People's Council based on the socio-economic conditions of each locality.

In Thanh Hoa, based on Resolution No. 27/2024/NQ-HDND of the People's Council stipulating the level of support, training and spending for forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level in the province, then:

The head of the security and order protection team in villages and residential groups type 1 is 0.7 times the basic salary level. Villages and residential groups type 2 and type 3, the head of the security and order protection team receives 0.65 times the basic salary level.

The Deputy Head of the Security and Order Protection Team in villages and residential groups type 1 has a support level of 0.65 times. Villages and residential groups type 2 and type 3, the support level is equal to 0.6 times the base salary level.

Members of the Security and Order Protection Team in villages and residential groups type 1 have a support level of 0.6 times the base salary level. Villages and residential groups type 2 and type 3 are equal to 0.56 times the base salary level.

Thus, the allowance table of the Security and Order Protection Team is converted according to the new basic salary level as follows:

In addition to the above support level, the grassroots security and order protection team in Thanh Hoa also receives compensation when performing tasks from 10 pm the previous day to 6 am the next morning; on holidays, when performing heavy, hazardous, dangerous or especially heavy, hazardous, dangerous work according to the provisions of labor law.

The level of allowance for people participating in forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level when performing tasks from 10 pm the previous day to 6 am the next morning is compensated 50,000 VND/person/night but not exceeding 200,000 VND/person/month.

The level of allowance for forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level when performing tasks on holidays, when performing heavy, hazardous, dangerous or especially heavy, hazardous, dangerous work according to the provisions of labor law is compensated 100,000 VND/person/day but not exceeding 300,000 VND/person/month.

The level of additional working day allowance for people participating in forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level when performing tasks in border areas, mountainous areas, areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions, ethnic minority areas or at key commune-level administrative units on national defense: Supplement 50,000 VND/person/day but not exceeding 300,000 VND/person/month.
