Subsidy level for grassroots security and order teams in Can Tho

The Labor Law Consulting Department said:

For forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, whether their allowances increase or not depends on the policies of each province and city.

Because the allowance level for this force is not applied uniformly nationwide but is decided by the Provincial People's Council based on the socio-economic conditions of each locality.

Many provinces and cities across the country calculate allowances and support for grassroots security and order teams according to a coefficient multiplied by the base salary. Some localities also stipulate allowance levels equal to a fixed absolute amount of money.

In Can Tho, based on Resolution 03/2024/NQ-HDND of the City People's Council on Regulations on the level of monthly regular support and other levels of support and training for Security and Order Protection Teams, then:

The level of regular support and training for Security and Order Protection Teams is regulated:

Members of the Security and Order Protection Team are supported monthly equal to 0.8 times the base salary. Accordingly, from July 1, 2026, base salary 2.530,000 VND/month, thus, the allowance level is: 0.8 x 2.530,000 VND = 2,024,000 VND.

The Resolution also stipulates job title allowances for Team Leaders and Deputy Team Leaders: Team Leader: 300,000 VND/person/month.

Deputy team leader: 200,000 VND/person/month.

Support by training level:

University or higher: 500,000 VND/person/month.

College: 300,000 VND/person/month.

Intermediate level: 200,000 VND/person/month.

The level of allowance when performing tasks according to the assignment of competent authorities: When performing tasks from 10 pm the previous day to 6 am the next morning, on days off, holidays according to the provisions of labor law, they are entitled to an allowance of 100,000 VND/night, but not exceeding 10 nights/person/month;

When performing heavy, hazardous, dangerous or especially heavy, hazardous, dangerous work according to the provisions of labor law, they are compensated 95,000 VND/person/day;

When performing tasks at key commune-level administrative units on national defense, they are rewarded an additional working day of 7,000 VND/day/person.
