Mr. Mai Xuan Liem is assigned to be in charge of activities of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee

On July 22, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that after Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Standing Deputy Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religious Affairs, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee unanimously assigned Mr. Mai Xuan Liem - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, Standing Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - to be in charge of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee and the activities of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee.

The assignment aims to ensure that the leadership, direction and administration work at the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial People's Committee is carried out smoothly and continuously, without interrupting the work resolution of agencies, units and localities.

This is not the first time Mr. Mai Xuan Liem has been assigned to be in charge of and manage the operations of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee.

Previously, in September 2025, during the absence of Mr. Do Minh Tuan - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Mr. Nguyen Van Thi - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee at that time, the Standing Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee assigned Mr. Mai Xuan Liem to be in charge and manage the activities of the Provincial People's Committee until new instructions are issued.

In the 2025 assignment, the work of the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee was assigned to Mr. Do Hong Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee - to be in charge and manage. In the current assignment, Mr. Mai Xuan Liem is also assigned to be in charge of both the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee.

Mr. Mai Xuan Liem was born on February 25, 1974, Muong ethnicity, from Thanh Tam commune, former Thach Thanh district (now Ngoc Trao commune, Thanh Hoa province). He was elected by the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Council to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the first time in October 2019.
