Note the prohibited routes when going to see fireworks at My Dinh Stadium tonight
Hanoi - People going to see fireworks at My Dinh Stadium tonight, January 23, should pay attention to the prohibited and restricted routes.
From 8:10 p.m. on January 23, fireworks will be set off according to the special art program script to successfully celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party.
To ensure traffic security and safety, the authorities will organize traffic flow and guidance from 6pm to 7am on January 23 as follows:
Temporarily ban all vehicles (except vehicles serving the Congress and vehicles with protection badges) from circulating on the following routes: Le Duc Tho (from Nguyen Hoang to Le Quang Dao), Le Quang Dao (from Le Duc Tho to Me Tri), Tan My, Do Xuan Hop, Nguyen Co Thach (from Tran Huu Duc to Ham Nghi), Tran Huu Duc (from Nguyen Van Giap to Le Duc Tho).
Limit vehicles, especially cars, on the following routes: Le Duc Tho (from Nguyen Hoang to Ho Tung Mau), Nguyen Co Thach (from Ham Nghi to Ho Tung Mau), Nguyen Hoang, Ham Nghi, Trinh Van Bo, Le Quang Dao (from Me Tri to Thang Long Avenue), Chau Van Liem (including Chau Van Liem intersection overpass), Me Tri.
Hanoi City Police also organizes traffic diversion from National Highway 32 to Thang Long Avenue and vice versa in the following directions: Ho Tung Mau - Pham Hung - Thang Long Avenue; Ho Tung Mau - Cau Dien - Xuan Phuong - Provincial Road 70 - Thang Long Avenue.
To ensure the safety and security of the delegates attending the program, Hanoi City Police recommends that traffic participants voluntarily comply with the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety; when meeting a priority group of vehicles giving signals on duty, quickly change direction, follow the instructions of the authorities to give way.
Hanoi City Police also requested the Hanoi Department of Construction to base on the traffic diversion plan to adjust the bus routes and fixed passenger transport routes, limit the frequency of operations on temporarily banned and restricted routes according to the announcement.
