Details of 46 communes and wards expected to be in Hoa Binh after the merger
On April 17, the Conference of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee agreed on the policy of arranging and merging commune-level administrative units.
Accordingly, this locality has reorganized and merged 151 commune-level administrative units under 10 districts and cities into 46 commune-level administrative units under the province (including 42 communes and 4 wards), reducing 105 communes, wards and towns, equivalent to 69.5%.
Hoa Binh city will reorganize 19 administrative units to form 5 new units, including 4 wards: Thong Nhat, Ky Son, Hoa Binh, Tan Hoa and 1 Thinh Minh commune.
For districts, the arrangement is also implemented as follows:
Cao Phong merged 10 communes and towns into 3 new communes (Cao Phong, Muong Thang, Thung Nai).
Lac Thuy is reduced from 10 to 3 new communes (Lac Thuy, An Nghia, An Binh).
Yen Thuy reduces 11 units to 3 communes (Yen Thuy, Yen Tri, Lac Luong).
Luong Son reorganizes 11 communes and towns into 3 new communes (Luong Son, Lien Son, Cao Duong).
Mai Chau has decreased sharply from 16 communes and towns to 5 communes (pa Co, Bao La, Mai Ha, Mai Chau, Tan Mai).
Tan Lac has decreased from 16 communes and towns to 5 communes (Tan Lac, Muong Bi, Muong Hoa, Toan Thang, Van Son).
Kim Boi reduced 17 communes and towns to 5 communes (Muong Dong, nat Son, Hop Kim, Dung Tien, Kim Boi).
Lac Son has decreased from 24 communes and towns to 8 communes (Ngoc Son, Quyet Thang, Thuong Coc, Lac Son, Dai Dong, Yen Phu, Muong Vang, Nhan Nghia).
Da Bac reduced 17 communes and towns to 6 communes (Da Bac, Tien Phong, Cao Son, Tan Pheo, Duc Nhan, Quy Duc).
